She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Calcagno and Barbara Calcagno (Aldrich); and her brother Walter E. "Ed" Valentine. She is survived by: her husband James Assetta; her daughters, Renée Carleen (Hans Carleen) and Julie McGonigle (James McGonigle IV); her granddaughters, Jacqueline, Michaela and Francesca; and her brothers, Mario Calcagno (Marsha), Angelo Calcagno (Janet), Steven Calcagno (Annette) and David Calcagno. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Church (126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887).
