She was predeceased by: her father Robert D. Flaherty; and her brother Robert D. Flaherty, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Joanne Flaherty (Bishop) of Wilmington; her aunt Suzanne Flaherty Blauvelt; her uncles, Michael LaTerza and Leo LaTerza; her cousin Maryellen Harris; her close friend Myra Amaro; and her pet Kiki. She is also survived by her extended family and many friends.
