It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia A. Gearty of Wilmington, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph H. Ward and Margaret E. Ward; her sister MaryEllen "Skip" Ward; her granddaughter Elise Gearty; and her sister-in-law Louise Gearty.
She is survived by : her children, Joan P. McDonough (late Patrick J. "Jay"), McDonough of Bradford, Richard F. Gearty of Wilmington, John J. (Doria Gearty), Robert W. (Robin Gearty) and Thomas C. (Rose Gearty); her grandchildren, Lynne, Joshua Plavner, Kara M., Richard J. Sawyer, Lauren, Michael Hagan, Patricia Gearty, Lea Gearty, John Gearty, Mariel Gearty, Christopher Colosimo and Caitlin Gearty; and her great grandchildren, Joseph, Brynn Sughrue, Evelyn, William Plavner, James, Cecilia, Francis Hagan and Noelle Colosimo.
