It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Scanlon of Wilmington, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Dick" Scanlon and Kathleen "Kay" Scanlon (Hoban). He is survived by: his wife Tina (Vatcher); his children, Colin Scanlon (Stephanie McConnell), Siobhan Scanlon (Ethan Bowe) and Shailagh Scanlon; and his siblings, Richard Scanlon, Susan Carter (Chris) and Michael Scanlon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Dorothy's Church (11 Harnden St, Wilmington, MA 01887). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Wildwood Cemetery (233 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA 01887).
