He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary B. Junta (Flaherty) and Samuel J. Junta; his child Quinlan Junta; his brother James "Jamie" Junta; and his brother-in-law Larry Dewey.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Junta (Dewey); his child Kendall Junta; his siblings, Barbara Tracy (Arthur), Mary Ellen Brown (Richard), Ann Kelly (Bernie), Michael Junta, Theresa Lawton, Paul Junta (Sheila) and Patrick Junta (Caroline); his mother-in-law Mary Dewey; and his siblings-in-law, Billy Dewey and Jackie Dewey. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dedicated close friends.

There are no funeral home visiting hours. (FACIAL COVERINGS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED INSIDE CHURCH.) Mary Jane would like to acknowledge the love, support and amazing care given to Tommy during his illness by Kate, Hannah, Tracey, Kim, Emily, Lunch Guy and all the many other health care professionals on Yawkey 8 at Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center.
