He was predeceased by: his father William L. Thompson. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Weavers (Toppin) of Waltham; his children, William L. Thompson III of Wilmington and Jessica M. Quintal of Northumberland, NH; his grandchild Maia Rose Shaw; his siblings, Kathy Thompson (Jay Heycock) of Waltham, Karen Thompson of Nashua, NH and Michael Thompson (Ann) of Woburn; his siblings' children, Charlotte Bink, Jack Bink, Jessica Winitzer (David) and Michael Thompson II (Joseph Brabants); his great-nephews, Mason and Gavin Winitzer; and his former wife Joanne Thompson. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
