With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shelly Newton (Winchendon, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Stowell and Nancy Stowell (Florence); her son Andrew; and her siblings, Diana and Bill.
She is survived by: her sister Karen Stowell Trombly; her husband Douglas Newton; her sons, Douglas Newton Jr. (Lucas) of New York City and Nicholas Newton (Tiffany) of Winchendon, MA; her grandchildren, Piper, Wesley, Thea and Iris; and her daughter Sonya Newton (Matthew Smith) of Lancaster, MA..
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home (343 Central St, Winchendon, MA 01475).
