She was predeceased by: her parents, Garrett Joseph Barry of Boston and Alma Louise Barry (McPhee) of Boston; her husband Richard "Dick" Harrington Murphy; her son Daniel J. Murphy; and her sisters, Alma Coleman, Joan Barry Doherty and Claire Donahue.
She is survived by: her sister Lois Barry of Cotuit; her children, Kathleen M. Marc (Yale Marc) of Naples, FL, Richard H. Murphy Jr. (Karen Murphy) of Winchester and Stephen B. Murphy (Michelle Murphy) of Winchester; her grandchildren, Christopher H. Murphy (Emilie Murphy) of Amherst, NH, Andrew C. P. Murphy (Shannon Sun-Higginson) of New York City, Ryan Marc (Jerrielyn Marc) of Ft. Myers, FL, William S. Murphy (Samantha Harris) of New York City, Caitlin Murphy and Lauren Marc of Naples, FL.; her great grandchildren, Madison Lynne Murphy, Kira Sun Murphy, Bailey Adelaide Murphy and Ryan Harrington Murphy; her daughter-in-law Karyn Smith; and her children, Geoffrey Hicks and Emmalyn Hicks. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lane Funeral Home (760 Main St, Winchester, MA 01890). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Eulalia's Church (50 Ridge St, Winchester, MA 01890). A burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Wildwood Cemetery (34 Palmer St, Winchester, MA 01890).
