We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2025, at the age of 91, Gobnet Gill of Winchester, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gobnet Gill to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Faherty and Julia Faherty (Conneely); her spouse Thomas K. Gill Jr.; and her siblings, Maura Conneely of Galway, Teresa Tarpey of Galway, Bridie Moran of Winchester, Padraig Faherty of Galway Ireland, Sean Faherty of Galway Ireland, Peter Flaherty of Woburn and Michael Flaherty of Winchester.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara McGee (Marc) of Woburn, Thomas Gill of Brookline, Carol Taylor (David) of Woburn, Mary-Theresa Gill of Woburn and Edward Gill of Burlington; her grandchildren, David, Scott, Derek, Justin Taylor, Elise McGee, Bryan, Lauren and Erin Govostes; her great grandchildren, Sophie and Anna Taylor; and her sisters-in-law, Theresa Flaherty of Woburn and Maggie Faherty of Galway Ireland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lane Funeral Home (760 Main St, Winchester, MA 01890). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Church (155 Washington St, Winchester, MA 01890).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gobnet's memory to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
