She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Collins and Anna Collins; her husband John Dolan; her stepchildren, John Jr., Ben (Linda), Anne Lofredo (Joseph) and David Dolan; and her brothers, Richard "Dick" Collins and Robert Collins.

She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Elizabeth Dolan Whitham and Mary McNamara; her great grandchildren, Olivia and Harper; her sister-in-law Ann Collins; her nieces and nephews, Patricia Collins (Bill), Dianne Grube (Jack), Dennis Collins (Tasha), Rich Collins (Bridget) and Mark Collins (Christine); her pet Hoxie; and her caregivers, Ana and Darlene.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Janice's memory may be made to the Jenks Senior Center in Winchester, an organization that was dear to her heart and where she remained an active and engaged member for many years.
