He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Mawn and Anna Mawn (Oliver); his wife Linda Mawn (Coss); and his siblings, James Jr., Judith Murphy, Richard (Mitzy), Thomas, Mary Louise, Joseph and Kevin.
He is survived by: his children, John E. Mawn Jr. (Amy), Bradley McNamara (Neira) and Stephanie Leavenworth (Richard); his grandchildren, Courtney Tancill (Shane), Shaleigh Amore (Dylan), Shannon Leavenworth, Emma Mawn, Liam Mawn and Lucy Mawn; his great grandchildren, Quinnlan, Phoebe Tancill and Louie Amore; and his siblings, Patricia Brazee, Marilyn Jeffrey and Peter Mawn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory can be made to Boston Children's Hospital -The Every Child Fund.
