It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Avola (Winchester, Massachusetts), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Rita has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elena Antonioli (Cianfrocca) and Carlo Antonioli; and her husband Cologero "Charlie" Avola. She is survived by: her children, Charles "Chuck" Avola (Cheryl) of Northbridge, RitaEllen Kaulbach (Andy) of East Andover, NH, Carl Avola (Susan) of Lunenburg, Stephen Avola (Helena) of Beverly, Richard Avola of Clinton and Michele Pasciuto (Carl) of Woburn. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
