He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Inge; his children, Brian (Lauren) of Newport Beach, CA, Peter (Lisa) of Glencoe, IL, Patrick (Khuong) of Reston, VA and Andrea Miklus (Jim) of Andover, MA.; his grandchildren, Kylie, Kendall, Kennedy, Katherine, Jack, Sam, Dylan, Marley, Kellan, Alex and Emily; his siblings, Terry (Ed McLoughlin), Jean Dean, Judy Mulvaney and Patricia Kelley; his brother-in-law Henry Schmidt; and his close friend Dan LaGatta. He was also cherished by many loving relatives and friends.
