He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph DeStefano and Anita DeStefano (Marshall); his wife Sheila M. DeStefano (Barry); his son Carl DeStefano, Jr.; and his siblings, Joseph DeStefano, Anita Vinciarelli and Anne Alongi.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Kirby (Daniel) of Peabody, William DeStefano (Kathy Murphy) of Peabody, Edward DeStefano (Angela Williams) of Revere, Janine Sujko of Revere and Danielle DiChiara; his grandchildren, Daniel Kirby, Jr. (Kelly), Christopher Kirby (Jessica Williams), Derek Kirby (Lindsey), Nicole DeStefano, Christina DeStefano and Carlie DeStefano; and his siblings, Leonard DeStefano, Margaret Johnson, Louise Powers, Marie Lupio and Sylvia Moschetti. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
