With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ellen P. McLaughlin of Winthrop, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband James L. McLaughlin; her parents, Joseph Grenham and Annie Grenham (Harney); and her sisters, Anna T. Grenham and Margaret Grenham.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph of Winthrop, James (Virginia) of Billerica, Paul (Therese) of Carlsbad, CA, Michael (Patricia) of Peabody, David of Abington and Peggy (Paul McElhinney) of Reading; her grandchildren, Erin, James (Christine), Kara, Kristen, Megan, Christopher, Rosemary, Molly and Patrick; and her great grandchild Robert. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ernest P. Caggiano & Son Funeral Home (147 Winthrop St, Winthrop, MA 02152). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Parish (St. John the Evangelist Church) (320 Winthrop St, Winthrop, MA 02152).
