He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick D. Holden of Boston and Blanche Holden (Poirier) of Canada; and his brothers, David Holden and Robert Holden. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Holden (Festa); his children, Cheryl Holden Cuddy (Brian) of Milton and Frederick "Rick" A. Holden (Jennifer) of Beverly; his grandchildren, Adrienne Gerrity (Colleen Gerrity) of Brookline and Lauren Cuddy of Boston; his great grandchildren, Finnegan, Oliver and Lennon Marie; and his siblings-in-law, Al Festa, Beverly Pacheco and Elaine Festa.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Beechwood Home For Funerals (262 Beach St, Revere, MA 02151). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
