Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gretchen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Dirksmayer (McGillicuddy) and Charles Dirksmayer; her husband Charles Collins; and her sister Susan Dirksmayer. She is survived by: her children, Marc Collins of Winthrop and Heidi Fantasia (John) of Winthrop; and her grandchildren, Andrew, Amelia and Evan.
