The family announces the passing of James Freeman O'Hare of Winthrop, Massachusetts on October 23, 2026. James, born on November 24, 1958, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
James will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor James by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though James is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. James’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis X. O'Hare and Etna Lynwood Freeman O'Hare; his daughter Mckenzie O'Hare; and his sister Margarette Cook. He is survived by: his daughter Kalen Regal O'Hare; his girlfriend Laura Mondano; his former wife Stacey Regal-O'Hare; and his siblings, Francis X. O'Hare of Tacoma, Washington and Patricia O'Hare Williams of Marblehead. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eustis & Cornell of Marblehead (142 Elm St, Marblehead, MA 01945). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Gerry (210 Beacon St, Marblehead, MA 01945).
