It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan E. Pitts (Winthrop, Massachusetts), who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joan leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Beattie (Robbins) and Charles Beattie; her son Bryan Pitts; her siblings, Patricia McGee (late Arthur), Genia Cerulli (late Fred), Norma Gobiel (late Jim) and Charles; and her brother-in-law Joe.
She is survived by: her sister Brenda. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
