John Pappas Obituary
The passing of John Pappas (Winthrop, Massachusetts) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 2, 2026 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Pappas and Anastasia Mavrikis (Pappas); and his sister Angelica Anastos. He is survived by: his stepfather Asimakis Mavrikis; his brother George Pappas; and his stepsiblings, Penelope Flessas (Mavrikis) and Peter Mavrikis.
John made significant contributions to scientific and engineering progress where he conceived ingenious ideas into concrete inventions enabling him to develop approximately 1 dozen patents.
