Giuffreda of Winthrop, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 15, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elizabeth Giuffreda (Gorman) and Gaetano Giuffreda; his wife Carolyn T. (Ditges); his children, Karen E. Hawko (John) of Nahant and Joseph H. Giuffreda (Diane) of Lewisville, Texas.; his brothers, Richard, Robert and James Giuffreda; his grandchildren, Gregory, Brian, Christopher, Marie and Alex; and his great grandchildren, Lucy, Emmie, Ari, Addie and Harrison.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (320 Winthrop St, Winthrop, MA 02152). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association. (See links below).
