He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene Schiff (Futterman); and his siblings, Hennach, Nathan, Frank, Henry, Maurice, Celia Mann, Phyllis Sax and Ella Weiner.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Schiff of Winthrop, Nancy Schiff and Lisa Compton of Winthrop; and his granddaughter Patricia Donaldson of Salem. He is also survived by 50 nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
