We are sad to announce that, on May 4, 2026, Rodney Kepnes of Winthrop, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Rodney shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rodney farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude "Nessie" Kepnes (Score) and Pershing "Keppie" Kepnes of Winthrop. He is survived by: his brothers, Barry Kepnes (Lynn) of Winthrop and Paul Kepnes (Joanna Rose) of Marblehead; his nephew Matthew Kepnes; and his nieces, Rachel Kepnes, Lindsey Kepnes Joffe and Heidi Kepnes.
In lieu of flowers; Roddy would probably request that you do a beach check, stare out at the ocean, and think of him fondly. And he would also maybe tell you to have your cake and eat it too.
