In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Ruth had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Ruth may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Verna Burns (Stevens) and Frederick A. Burns; her spouse Russell L. Hovermale; and her brother Frederick A. "Sonny" Burns, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Russ Hovermale (Philip) of Tampa and Royce Hovermale (Jennifer) of Winthrop; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Evan and Dylan Hovermale. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
