She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bartlett and Sonya Bartlett (Svenson); her husband Edmund L. "Ted" Gates, Jr.; her siblings, June Cole and John Bartlett; her son-in-law Walter J. Shannon, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Bartlett and JC Stanford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Victoria "Vicky" Bedsaul (Roger) of Woburn and Virginia "Ginnie" Shannon of Lapeer; her grandchildren, Lauren Davis (Mike), Ian Shannon (Melanie), Wesley Bedsaul (Joana), Ross Shannon (Suemi) and Ethan Bedsaul (Megan); her great grandchildren, Morgan, Levi, Lily, Madison, Owen, Valentina, Elizabeth, Theo, Nora, Brody, Jack, Molly, Eliza and Asa; and her siblings, Charles Bartlett of Massachusetts and Karen Stanford of Alabama. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
