We are sad to announce that, on March 31, 2026, Brigid (Walsh) Gaffney of Woburn, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son William B. Gaffney; her parents, Liam and Mary; and her brothers, Páraic and Michael.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Hugh Jr., Owen, Maeve, Brynn, Gabriel, Alexandra, Kaylee, Keira, Gracie, Connor, Cassandra, James Jr. and Stephen; her husband Hugh Gaffney of Woburn; her children, Mary Papazian, Eric Cox of Andover, Hugh Gaffney (Karen) of Beverly, John Gaffney of Tewksbury, Colleen Herrera (Wilson) of Burlington, Michael Gaffney of Woburn and James Gaffney (Melissa) of Bedford; her siblings, Joe and Mary; and her grandson Hugh. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews; her neighbors; and a wide circle of dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Brigid's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
