She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Porter and Julia Porter (Hart); and her brother Charles Porter. She is survived by: her son W. Casey Erven (Jo Ann); her grandchildren, Julia Rose and John William of Scituate; her sister Jean Grammer; and her sister-in-law Patricia Porter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home (60 Pleasant St, Woburn, MA 01801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
It has been requested that in lieu of flowers, donations in Carol's memory may be made to PAWS (Protection of Animals in Wakefield Society, Inc.) or The Jimmy Fund.
