She was predeceased by: her husband James H. MacDonald; her son Brian MacDonald; her parents, John Mearls and Catherine Mearls (Metrano); and her sister Patricia Cahalane.

She is survived by: her children, James MacDonald of San Diego, CA, Kathleen English of Woburn and Randy MacDonald (Kim) of Greenland, NH; her grandchildren, Jennifer English and Derrick MacDonald; her great grandchildren, Jayden, Corey and Arielise; and her siblings, Jack Mearls (Robie) and Carol Getty of Woburn. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
