She was predeceased by: her husband Richard P. "Dick" Ober; her daughter Mary Ann Ober; and her siblings, George (Nancy Busby), James (Norma), Bill (Lee Busby), Bob (Joan Busby), Kay (Dan Hayden) and Christine (Leo Vicario).
She is survived by: her children, Dan Ober (Nanci) of New Bedford, Diane Ahern of Woburn and Terry Collins (Tim) of Leominster; her grandchildren, Rebecca Daniels (Mike), Paul Ober, Kristopher Ahern (Arlene), Keith Ahern (Tricia) and Kasey Ahern (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Archer Daniels, Tyler DiCrisanti, Addy, Cole, Lorelai, Riley Ahern and Dillon Ahern. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home (263 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Church (851 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered in Betty's cherished memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or in honor of her beloved grandson Dillon Ahern to Children's Hospital, Attn: Memorial Donations, 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115.
