She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. "Jack" Gibbons Jr. and Mary Ellen Gibbons (Rafferty); her stepmother Hilda Gibbons; and her siblings, Ronald P. Gibbons (late Kathleen), John P. Gibbons III (Linda) of Clarksburg, MA and Julie Ann Gibbons.
She is survived by: her husband Paul S. Dellaia of Woburn; her children, Paul M. "PJ" Dellaia (Shauna) of Chelmsford and Meghan E. Dellaia (Brandon Lundgren) of Woburn; her grandchildren, Deric, Nolan, Grace Lundgren, Ava Mae and Margaret "Maggie" Dellaia; her nieces and nephews, Christy Nickerson, Julie Schell, Kimberly Langone, Alan Bain, Tina Decoteau, Kelly Marotto, John P. "Jackie" Gibbons IV, Mary Gibbons, Christopher Gibbons, Sean Gibbons, Caitlin Oberti, Michelle Baczewski and Joseph M. "Joey" Gibbons Jr.; and her siblings, Mark S. Gibbons (Janice) of Woburn, Joseph M. Gibbons (Judith) of Woburn and Susan P. Flood (late Bruce) of New Hampshire. She is also survived by many loving great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home (263 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Church (280 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801).
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in honor of Ellen, to the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn or the Woburn Council for Social Concern, two organizations dedicated to supporting children and families in the community she loved.
