She was predeceased by : her parents, Philip A. Flowers and Edna R. Flowers (Mattucci). She is survived by : her sister Catherine Flowers of Tewksbury; her niece Brittany Bunch; her great-niece Adelina of Houston, TX; her niece Sarah Bunch of Woburn; her brother Philip Flowers (Heather); her niece Penny; her nephew Gabriel of Clarksville, OH; and her friends, Karen Johnson of Woburn and Shelley LeCours of Bedford, NH.. She is also survived by many cousins and many friends.

A prayer service will be conducted at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Saturday, January 6th, at 2:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Ellen's memory to the DMH Hathorne Canteen Fund, Tewksbury State Hospital, c/o Brad Richardson, 365 East St., Tewksbury, MA 01876.

“I am so sorry to hear of Ellen's passing. She was an inspirational nursing leader who was always willing to help her colleagues and did so with kindness and compassion.
