We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2024, Honorable Frederick V. Gilgun of Woburn, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John F. Gilgun and Rose Gilgun (O'Donnell); and his siblings, Mary Cullinane, Rose Gilgun, Margaret Collamore, Helen Gilgun, John Gilgun, Jr., Bernard Gilgun, Richard Gilgun and Laurence Gilgun.

He is survived by : his daughters, Dorothy M. Roscillo (Anthony) of Woburn, Patricia M. Harnan (Thomas) of South Boston, Elizabeth M. "Libby" Coveno (Michael) of Burlington and Regina M. Ryan (Michael) of Winchester; his brother David I. Gilgun of Woburn; his wife Dorothy E. Gilgun (Richard); his children, Frederick V. Gilgun, Jr. (Sharon) of Winchester and Rosemary Maher (Robert) of Woburn; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael, Katherine, Jacqui, Danielle, Kathleen, Jay, Jack, Caroline, Mary, Kate, Luke, Rose, Owen, Faith, Thomas and Patrick; and his great grandchild Thomas. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
