He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. Hastie and Alice M. Hastie (Ghilardi); and his siblings, William Hastie and Gail Hastie. He is survived by: his spouse Jan M. Burgio Hastie; his sons, James A. Hastie (Erin) of Saugus, Edward J. Hastie (Adriana) of Stoneham and William J. Hastie of Maryland; and his grandchildren, William, Emily, James and Ava. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends.
