James Shaughnessy Obituary
We announce the death of James Shaughnessy of Woburn, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 73. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Shaughnessy and Jini Shaughnessy (Burns); and his sister Pat Butler. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Mikayla Goode and Bridget Bulger; his siblings, Thom Shaughnessy, Marylou Colozzi, Mitty Shaughnessy, Shawn Shaughnessy and Jane "Girl" O'Brien; and his brothers-in-law, Jeff Butler and Rich Colozzi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
