She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard H. Hemming; her daughter April Goulet (Michael) of Fitchburg; her parents, Angelo Mariano and Yolanda Mariano; her friends, Darryl, Colleen Desmond of Burlington and Cathy Paige of Danvers; her pet Dunkin; and her siblings, Paul (Kathy Mariano), Diane Spinucci of Florida, Anthony Mariano (late Patricia) of Pepperell, Brian (Eleanor Mariano), David Mariano of Winthrop and Leonard (Debbie Mariano). She was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In recent years, especially following Covid and throughout her illness, she and Richard spent much of their time quietly at home, though Janice always enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends through phone calls and thoughtful conversations.
