Joanne E. Piandes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne E. Piandes of Woburn, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Papadinis and Maria Papadinis (Copanas); her husband Anthony A. Piandes; and her siblings, Rosemont "Rosie" Papadinis and Harriet Kozich.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Francesca; and her children, Alex A. Piandes (Diane), Elaine M. Tilly (Paul) and Stacey J. Piandes. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Athanasius the Great Greek Church (4 Appleton St, Arlington, MA 02476). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery (70 Medford St, Arlington, MA 02474).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above named church.
