With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John J. Devine of Woburn, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Claire Devine (Nielsen); his grandson Thomas Hart; and his siblings, James, Daniel Devine and Patricia Devine.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Danielle Russo (Derek Russo) of Wilmington, Paul Hart (Julia Hart) of Tennessee, Ashlee McGlashing of Woburn, Cameron McGlashing (Nathalia McGlashing) of Tewksbury, Joshua Loud of Atlanta, GA, Caroline Loud, Brianna Loud, Emily Loud of Wilmington and Eddie Loud (Hannah Loud) of Maryland; his great grandchildren, Jaden Doherty, Alexa Hart, Ansley Hart, Amelia Hart, Claire Russo, Matthew Lapointe, Camilla Hart, Mackenzie Lapointe, Logan McGlashing, Charlotte Russo, Michael Lapointe and Ana McGlashing; his children, Paul Devine (Rob) of California, John P. "Jay" Devine of Woburn, Deborah Austin (Bill Austin) of Atlanta, Eddie Loud (Doreen Loud) of Maryland, Holly Thomas of Atlanta and Linda Loud of Woburn; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Devine, Denis Devine and Peter Devine (Kathy Devine). He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
