He is survived by: his wife Liz Mitchell (Ferdinand) of Woburn; his sons, Matthew Mitchell of Simsbury, CT and Justin "Jay" Mitchell (Allison) of Swampscott; his grandchildren, Collin, Brandon, Robbie, Harry and Archie Mitchell; his sisters, Margaret Mitchell (Arthur Larson) of York Beach, ME, Mary Mitchell of Danvers, Diane McGlynn (Jack) of Middleton and Nancy Jordan of Plymouth; his brother-in-law Archie Cerullo; his mother-in-law Ivy Richardson of Glencove, NY; his sister-in-law Pamela Silva (Ernie); his nieces and nephews, Johnny Murray (Stephanie), Stacey Stone (Donnie), Colleen Moody (Craig), Annie Walsh (Steve), Timothy Beil (Marla) and Mark Beil; and his goddaughter Bree Levitz (McConnell).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Donnell Cremations-Funerals (167 Maple St, Danvers, MA 01923). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Richard's Church (90 Forest St, Danvers, MA 01923). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (226 North St, Salem, MA 01970).
