John J. Morandi Sr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Morandi Sr. of Woburn, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 28, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary J. Morandi (Tibaudo); his parents, Michael Morandi and Maria Morandi (Gentile); his close friend Lorraine Malinowski; and his sister Angelina Vasapoli.

He is survived by: his children, John J. Morandi, Jr. (Denise) of Tewksbury, Marie Haugh (John) of Groveland and Joni Marra (Dave) of Milford, NH.; his grandchildren, Nicole Princic (Dan), Emily Melo (Michael), Brian Haugh, Justin Marra, Rachel Harrington (Matt) and Gina Marra (Nick); his great grandchildren, Andrew, Nicholas, Katherine Princic, Owen Melo and Liam Harrington; and his siblings, Anna Carbone, Joseph, Anthony and Paul Morandi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of one's choice.
