We announce the death of John Paul Farrell (Woburn, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 26, 2026. John Paul will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Russell Farrell, Sr. and Florence Muriel Bryce Farrell; and his siblings, George Russell Farrell, Jr. and Madeleine Johnson. He is survived by: his sons, Daniel and Brian; his grandsons, Sam and Garrett; his daughter-in-law Kristen; his siblings, Steve Farrell (Fran Marino), Sue Mahony, David Farrell (Joan) and Liz Moguaro (Bob); and his brother-in-law Steve Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, he would be honored through donations to the Marist Laity of the Society of Mary, International Foundation for Gastrointestinal Disorders (https://iffgd.org), or Project Healing Waters.
