He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Alberts (John) of Wakefield; and his parents, Charles Hartmere and Alice Hartmere (Colbert). He is survived by: his wife Susan D. Hartmere (Halliday); his children, Jon S. Hartmere, Jr. (Adam) of California, Ben Hartmere (Kimberly) of North Carolina and Kathryn Earle (David) of Stoneham; his grandchildren, Ryan, Caroline and Avery; his siblings, Jane O'Connell (Bob) of Texas and Michael Hartmere of Connecticut; and his pet Bailey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jon's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the MSPCA.
