He was predeceased by: his former wife Lillian H. McCabe (Keiley); his parents, John McCabe and Helen McCabe (Glynn); his son Matthew J. McCabe (Melissa) of Seabrook, NH; and his brother Jack McCabe.

He is survived by: his wife Lilly; his children, Isabelle M. McCabe (Stephen Gentile) of Hampton, NH, Joseph E. McCabe Jr. (Victoria) of Scituate, John L. McCabe (Lisa) of Woburn and Robert A. McCabe (Lucille) of Woburn; his grandchildren, John McCabe, Jr., Jennifer, Aislinn, Gino, Molly, Morgan, Kelly McCabe, Robert McCabe, Jr. and Melanie Carroll; his great grandchildren, Mason, Madison, Mila and Jack McCabe; and his sister-in-law Mary McCabe. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Per current Covid-19 restrictions, we kindly ask that that everyone in attendance wear a face covering, and observe social distancing guidelines during all services and at all venues.
