He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Janeliunas and Alexandra Janeliunas (Lukosis); and his siblings, Stanley Janeliunas and Louise Brennick. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor W. Janeliunas (DiRusso); and his children, Donna Marie Janeliunas of Woburn, Joseph P. Janeliunas (Cecilia) of San Diego and James M. Janeliunas of Billerica.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Barbara Church (138 Cambridge Rd, Woburn, MA 01801).
Calling hours will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Sunday, September 20th from 1–4 p.m. Remembrances may be made in Joseph's memory to The Salvation Army. (https://give.salvationarmyusa.org).
