She was predeceased by: her husband Robert H. McDonough; and her siblings, John Gaffney, E. Viola Spinazola, R. Lillian Luce Powell and Pearl LaCasse.
She is survived by: her children, Diane L. Burton (late Frederick) of Woburn, Irene M, Robert H. McDonough Jr. of Woburn and Jane M. McDonough of Woburn; her grandchildren, Andrew Bassett (Shannon) of Hanahan, SC, Melissa Silvia (Mark) of Assonnett, MA, Joshua Bassett (Meggan) of Brockton and Anthony Bassett (Amber) of Brockton; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Emily, Gabrielle, Maxwell, Leighton, Alexander and Abigail. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home (263 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Charles Church (280 Main St, Woburn, MA 01801).
