She was predeceased by: her husband Robert H. McDonough; her parents, John Gaffney and Helga Gaffney (Stenquist); and her siblings, John Gaffney, E. Viola Spinazola, R. Lillian Luce Powell and Pearl LaCasse.
She is survived by: her children, Diane L. Burton (late Frederick) of Woburn, Irene M, Robert H. McDonough Jr. of Woburn and Jane M. McDonough of Woburn; her grandchildren, Andrew Bassett (Shannon) of Hanahan, SC, Melissa Silvia (Mark) of Assonnett, MA, Joshua Bassett (Meggan) of Brockton and Anthony Bassett (Amber) of Brockton; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Emily, Gabriel, Maxwell, Leighton, Alexander and Abigail. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
