He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon A. Brathwaite and Evelyn Brathwaite (Joseph); and his son Leon Philip Addison Brathwaite. He is survived by: his daughter Sonia Brathwaite (Mark); his brothers, Aaron Brathwaite and David A. Brathwaite of Barbados; and his close friend Tangi Clarke. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
