She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Foley and Evelyn Foley (Phinney); and her siblings, Nancy Brooks (late John), Peter Foley (Pat), Claire McLaughlin (late Bernie), Paul Foley (Pauline) and David Foley (Irene).
She is survived by: her husband Paul R. Doherty; her sons, Peter Doherty (Susan) of Lunenburg, Mark Doherty (Diane) of Woburn, Tom Doherty (late Carolyn) of Reading, Michael Doherty (Cristina) of Winchester and Tim Doherty (Laurie) of Woburn; her grandchildren, James, Brian, Dan, Melissa, Madison, Marisa, Evan, Chloe, Tara, Taylor, Corie and Liam Doherty; her great grandchildren, Cameryn, James, Teagan, Lena and Caleb; and her brothers, Jack Foley (Karen), Tom Foley (Linda), Charles Foley and Danny Foley (Debbie). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home, Thursday, from 4 to 8 p.m. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions in Marcia's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 320 Nevada St., Newton, MA 02460.
