He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester S. and Mary P. Sanborn (Nett); and his brother David P. Sanborn. He is survived by: his spouse Claire M. Sanborn (Murphy); his children, Paul D. Sanborn (Taryn O'Neill) of Medford, Allison M. Bennett (Patrick G.) of Woburn, Michael A. Sanborn of Woburn, Brian P. Sanborn (Courtney J.) of Norwood and Colleen E. Sanborn (Emily K. Sutliff) of West Roxbury; his sisters, Linda J. Sanborn of Woburn and Arlene M. O'Melia (John) of Wilmington; and his siblings-in-law, Elaine M. Olenchak (Stephen) of Florida, William H. Murphy (Sandra) of Woburn and Paul A. Murphy of New Hampshire. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 11:30 AM.
