He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Goneau and Louise Goneau (Humphrey); and his siblings, Ralph, William, Paul, Philip, Audrey, Jane, Marlene and Louise.

He is survived by: his wife Irene Goneau (Valley); his children, Sean Goneau (Amy) of Phoenix, Arizona and Andrew Goneau (Kimberly) of Woburn; and his grandchildren, Cameron and Tyler Goneau. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
