He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Griffin and Mary Griffin (Seabury); and his siblings, David Griffin and Jeannie Cargill. He is survived by: his wife Denise Bishop-Griffin; his sons, Matthew K. Bishop (Lauren) of Haverhill and Jonathan E. Bishop (Samantha) of Manchester, NH.; his grandchildren, Kolby Bishop, Paxton Bishop and Griffin Bishop; and his sisters, Ann Amaral, Mary Edwards (Thomas) of Woburn and Dorothy "Dotty" Hatch (Scott) of Peabody. He is also survived by his loving extended family and many nieces and nephews.
