He is survived by: his children, Richard F. Gately Jr. (Linda) of Woburn and Darlene Paras (Harry) of Woburn; his great grandchildren, Joseph Gately, Kassie Sevier, Luke Sevier of Juliana Culhane, J. J, Noble, Gracie Gately and Briana Gately; his siblings, Jerome Gately, George Gately, Daniel Gately, Joe McAdams, Tom, John, Paul, Ellen, Alice and Mildred; and his great great grandchild Sofia Carr.
